our creative afternoon...

made flubber.
and watercolored.

i needed to use up my old banana's and so i tried a recipe from pinterest. it was quite tasty! though i wonder if i can sub some of that oil for applesauce? at any rate ava had three servings! this girl must be growing. she out-ate the girls at lunch too.

the flubber... i saw this on a blog and we decided to give it a try. sort of a science experiment. (as we are trying to continue our school/learning this summer) it was quite interesting! i was surprised it came together, and the kids loved playing with it. it didnt quite look like the picture in the blog, and we had a lot of excess water... but it was still fun for the kids!

  1. Jen! I found your blog in the middle of the night while I couldn't sleep from fun 3rd trimester sleeplessness. So glad I did. Your family is of course beautiful and I love your perspective on cherishing motherhood. Its so hard sometimes, but so important to do. Good luck with this last stretch! Can't wait to see pic of your little one soon.
