11 years...

we just celebrated our 11 year anniversary. its amazing... how quickly 11 years can fly by.

i was 19. almost 20. daniel was 21. we were so young. i feel like we've grown up together. we've learned to give and take, to be parents and best friends - through thick and thin. we've had ups and downs. but i wouldnt trade these years for anything.

this year, i was in grand junction for most of the day on our anniversary. (with 3 rowdy kiddos who were running around sams club like crazies... might i add!) we celebrated by having a rotisserie chicken and rice- eating quietly around our dinner table while the children played nearby. i joked that this will always be the anniversary we remember because of our silly little dinner... but it really will be an anniversary to remember. i will remember that my husband was such a good sport about going along with what i could eat. (and i KNOW how much he is not really a fan of rotisserie chicken and rice!) he was ok that we couldnt go out to eat, because every place would make me sick. he even said he was looking forward to eating our little dinner because we 'hadn't had it in a while'. i'll remember coming home - frazzled and tired - to a clean house, roses, a beautiful card, my favorite chocolates and a gift card to burger king for my most favorite frozen lemonade.

i sure do love him. a keeper he is.

and here is a walk down memory lane. i loved going through these... how incredibly blessed we've been.
