its been really hot in moab. i mean like 108 degrees hot. combine that with being in my last month of pregnancy... and well... i needed to get to somewhere cooler! so on saturday we decided to head up into the the la sals and get out of the heat.
we took geyser pass up to dark canyon lake. we'd never been there before. actually, i hadnt done the whole geyser pass road. so it was an adventure for us all. it was so beautiful. even if the lake was pretty darn buggy. the kids loved it. and i loved it because it was a blissful 73 degrees, while moab was sitting at 104.
