t i r e d . . .

wow. we finally moved in! and... on top of that, the upstairs and main floor are actually livable. no boxes! the basement... i'd rather not talk about that. ;) its my goal to have it organized by the time ava comes. i know it will take a while for it all to be put away because daniel has to build storage shelves. (and... most importantly- he has to go through all his stuff. and *ahem* get rid of a lot of J-U-N-K. but dont tell him i called it junk. hehe) ;)

we found that we had to replace most of our plumbing. not the surprise i was hoping for... but i suppose thats what happens when the water was off for most of the year. pipes go bad. daniel has had a crash course in plumbing 101, and im so grateful to him and my dad for tackling that task. im so happy to be able to use my kitchen sink and dishwasher! (and not run upstairs to the bathtub to wash a dish!)

im excited to actually get the rooms decorated now. i have plans. a lot include spray paint. and that will have to wait a bit. cold weather + pregnant... not happening. but... i know that not all of it will be done before i have the baby. im still not feeling super great... and i guess that means i have to pace myself a tad. ;)

the cookies i made for our fhe treat. i used this recipe because i had all the ingredients on hand. and its my new favorite! :)
