arrrgggg!

its crunch time. we are actually closing on friday. wow. i thought this day would never come. but now it seems like the title company is actually trying to charge us $1000 more to close than they should have.

and then i've spent way too much time shopping - getting misc items like toilet bowl brushes, shower curtains, fridge, paint, lumber, lights... and pretty much anything else you can imagine. the poor kids... or should i say aly. she doesnt do well with change at all. and all this running around, planning, and doing has gotten us out of our routine. amy... well- that girl just floats along. she is so easy going. just hoping that things will start to slow down here eventually.

amy at the fire station field trip today. she was so scared of the fire station. but what a trooper... i think she ended up realizing it wasnt as scary as she thought.


and... the diaper bag im making. well, purse/diaper bag. i really could not find anything i loved. so, i am going to make this one. and... i justified it because i'll be carrying this around for the next few years!! :) lets just hope it turns out! :)


and last... this picture isnt mine. but i resized these shelves and am putting them up in the girl's bathroom. the bathrooms in our new place are definently smaller than what we are used to, so space is at a premium. and, it means getting creative. the storage cupboards that are built to go above the toilet are a tad bit out of my price range. well- let me clarify that... i had the hardest time picking one out. i knew i was on a budget... all the ones in my price range... i sort of really hated. a lot. and i knew, if i looked at it every time i went into the bathroom... well, i would eventually break down and buy the expensive one. so i did. for my bathroom. and came up with an idea for the kids bathroom. i resized these shelves. and... for under about $6 for two... i wont complain! :) ps: is it really november?? eeek. this year has gone by way too fast! but- i am SO so excited for the holidays!! im seriously ready to bust out my tree and christmas music. :) the only thing im not so excited for? daniel's work party. casino night. really? you've seriously gotta be kidding me, people.
