date morning :)

daniel and i got the lovely chance to go out on a date. early, early saturday morning. he was going to go shooting with a bunch of his work buddies, but for whatever (thankful) reason, they couldnt make it. it was a beautiful 65 degree day, and i knew it would be our last chance to go shoot.

it had been years since i had gone shooting. and i think i only did that one time anyway. so it was a lot of fun to go up into the mountains and spend some good quality time with my hubby! :)

i primarily shot the .22 rifle. the ar-15... was a-w-e-s-o-m-e. except the first time we shot it, ava jumped at the loud noise. it was so crazy! she was so startled! and the handguns... well... the .40 has a LOT of kick!

anyway, we carved pumkpins- shooting style. ate yummy bagels... and just enjoyed being together doing something we love. :)

and last... my pirate pumpkin on the left. my blown to smitherines pumpkin in the middle, and daniels pumpkin on the right. (um... and let it be known... the middle pumpkin... my first 10 rounds- perfect shot straight into the pumpkin. wahoo!)
