december came and went so quickly. we decorated, and just snuggled up inside. it was soooo cold out. the girls had projects for school. aly made a snow / holiday scene. amy did a report on christmas traditions in another country (japan) and was able to decorate her santa from japan. he is wearing a kimono. ;)
there was a lot of baking and crafting. i made the younger girls blankets for christmas. i love the old hexagon pattern quilts. but... i made my own spin. i cut hexies out. and then stitched them straight to the flannel blanket. they'll fray around the edges when washed. maybe this year, i'll learn to do it right.
