weeelll... we were in the 2-3%. he is on crutches for 6 weeks, and off work for 6 weeks. then, only back on a limited basis- until the brace comes off. thats about 2-3 months. physical therapy for 6. six months. wait... it wasnt supposed to be like this.
i've struggled with the limitations his work has restricted him to. we are getting ready to sell our house. that means, all the 'unfinished' projects fell to me to complete. [read: finishing our wood floors] crash course on threshold replacement, finishing off trim, and - my personal favorite- using power tools. (measure TWICE cut once... remember that) i tried to 'do it all'. the result: a meltdown that could have rivaled a 2 year old. (not my finest moment...) i was overwhelemed about... everything.
but through all that- i saw how much heavenly father blessed me. our friends, our family (you know who you are)... those who have brought meals during the first few weeks... i said i was fine. but you knew. your caring, love and friendship filled my soul when i most needed it. you were the answer to my prayers. and i love you all for it.

Great pictures as always. I am pretty sure you don't take a bad picture. I am sorry things have been so rough. Hopefully things start improving...and SOON!

ReplyDeleteIt sure can be tempting to try to do it all sometimes. I've had some of those moments myself, more than I care to remember actually. Try to take it easy...Remember those who love you feel so blessed when they can be of service at such a time as this.
I am sorry it has been such a rough month. The wood floors look awesome. We are about to put wood floors in as well. You are going to move? Where? Good luck with everything.
