from the iphone roll - august

well, im back! we are finally settling into a routine, and im getting some sleep. i really want to remember this time. abby is so sweet, and there is just something about having a little new baby that is so wonderful.

i think everyone looks back on this time and doesnt remember their babies being this small. i know that is true for me too. and i just want to breathe it all in. abby is almost 2 months old. she is smiling. she loves to be held and swaddled. and, she gets really fussy especially at night. she loves to fall alseep in my arms, and i lay her on my chest.

yesterday, she slept for 2.5 hours and i rocked her outside. she snuggled up right against me. ava played at my feet. the weather was absolutely perfect, and i loved watching the sun filter through the leaves of the tree. its the little moments...

here are snaps from my iphone. i use that more than my dslr these days. i want to use my dslr... but my phone is always with me. one of these days i'll take more pictures with my big camera. :)

these two. its been so fun to watch ava become a big sister. she is in love with abby. most toddlers go through the jealous phase... i know that my older girls did. but not ava. she just wants to love on abby all. day. long. and sometimes i have to be careful (ava loves to smother her in kisses), but i am so thankful she loves abby so much. they will be best friends, i know.

other snaps of the kids. aly has become so motherly too. she is my right hand gal. i dont know what i'd do without her. what a kind and compassionate girl she is!
